Location/ Ride Start: Shop Rite Plaza Parking Lot, Niskayuna
Schenectady Cancer Foundation's
2nd Annual
Tour De Schenectady Benefit Bicycle Event
We are excited that you will be participating with us in our second annual “Tour de Schenectady” bike event! In its second year this is a fun event for the Capital region bicycling community, but will also raise much needed funds for Schenectady Cancer Foundation, Whose goal is to provide free services to cancer patients in Schenectady County.
Although this will be a fun-filled ride for cyclists of all ages, it is also a fund-raising event. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 to benefit Schenectady Cancer Foundations dynamic contribution to our community. Each rider should plan to approach their family and friends about making donations to support this worthy cause. There is no fundraising minimum but we hope everyone will come with an extra donation!
Located at Niskayuna's new Shop Rite plaza, morning check in and registration will take place in the rear lot. We will have morning foods, and restrooms Available.
This event will be held rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable.

On August 21st, 2010 the First Annual Tour de Schenectady took place in Central Park and was a rousing success. Representative Paul Tonko began the event that included live music, food, raffles, and of course-lots of cycling!
Plans for our 2012 event are already beginning so stop back for upcoming information.
